Abstract: The Earth Science from Space is a comprehensive interdisciplinary science to study the interaction, process and evolution of different spheres in the Earth system based on the information observed from the satellite observations. In order to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Society of Space Research, this paper will systematically review the achievements of the Earth Science from Space in China, the current challenges, and put forward suggestions for future developments.
