Abstract

Abstract

Dynamic effects of neutral winds on nighttime low-latitude F-layer are studied using an improved theoretical ionospheric model. The modeling results indicate that the distribution of neutral wind is essential in the evaluation of nighttime low-latitude F region. It is also shown that some features of dynamical processes induced by neutral wind are different from previous expected.
