  • In this paper a multiple phase-screen model is used to simulate the scintillation arising from bottomside sinusoidal (BBS) irregularities in the equatorial Fregion. The simulation shows that the variation of irregularity characteristic scale with altitude can result in large difference in spectral index of scintillation power spectrum and irregularity power spectrum.
