1993, 13(1): 1-15. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.001
Abstract(1935) PDF 942KB(764)
Abstract:
In this paper, the Fourier Spectrum and Bessel Spectrum of ionospheric scintillation intensity are calculated by Riometer data of 17 events of CNAhappended during Sept. and Dec. in 1986. The value of power index of Fourier Spectrum, shift velocity of irregularity in ionosphere and scintillation index are found out. The Spatial Spectrum of phase fluctuation follows the power law are found out too. Depend on that the Fourier spectrum follows a power law, the power index is a negative number and the relation between the power index and the fractional demension, the fractional demetmon is about 2.45. It is shown that this fraction de-mension is also the fraction demension of the irregularity. It is the reason to be supposed in this paper that ionospheric irregularities are a separetory fractal and are not a separetory patch. And a Fractal model of ionospheric irregularity of F-layer in polar is also suggested.
LOW-LATITUDE Pc3 GEOMAGNETIC PULSATIONS AND IONOSPHERIC CURRENT SYSTEM
Yang Shao-feng
1993, 13(1): 16-23. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.016
Abstract(2096) PDF 525KB(1042)
Abstract:
In this paper, it is assumed that a field line oscillates at low latitude. The magnetic disturbances on the ground are calculated and the low-latitude Pc3 pulsations are simulated from basic equations. Comparing with Pc3 pulsations observed at low latitudes, it can be seen that the simulated results are almost as same as real observations. So this theory can explain the characteristics of both frequency and polarization for low-latitude Pc3 pulsations.

Zhen Wei-min, Liu Rui-yuan
1993, 13(1): 24-30. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.024
Abstract(2173) PDF 447KB(933)
Abstract:
In this paper a multiple phase-screen model is used to simulate the scintillation arising from bottomside sinusoidal (BBS) irregularities in the equatorial Fregion. The simulation shows that the variation of irregularity characteristic scale with altitude can result in large difference in spectral index of scintillation power spectrum and irregularity power spectrum.

1993, 13(1): 31-38. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.031
Abstract(1923) PDF 473KB(1444)
Abstract:
This paper set up the equivalent mechanical model of the three-axis liquid filled satellite which has both translational and pitch-yaw disturbance. Then, using this model, the altitude stability of the satellite is investigated and a coincise analytic criterion is obtained.
THE FEATURE OF FREE SURFACE OSCILLATION IN LIQUID BRIDGE OF HALF FLOATING ZONE
Xie Jing-chang, Cao Zhong-hua, Hu Wen-rui
1993, 13(1): 39-42. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.039
Abstract(2175) PDF 497KB(660)
Abstract:
Based on the experiment of small dynamic bond number on the ground, the free surface oscillation in the marangoni convection of the half floating zone is studied. Two sets of synchronous optical video systems and associated mage processing units are used to observe the displacement oscillation of the free surface radii in two perpendicular cross-sections. The phase difference distribution of oscillation in two profiles along the axial direction is measured. According to the experimental results, there is azimuthal variation, in addition to the oscillation in the radial and exial direction. The basic wave pattern of azimuthal motion and the sensitivity and error of measurement are also discussed in this paper.
PULSATION PHENOMENA IN THE SOLAR BURST ON JULY 30, 1990
Qin Zhi-hai, Jiang Shu-ying, Qin Wei, Shang Zhao-hui
1993, 13(1): 43-49. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.043
Abstract(2129) PDF 473KB(889)
Abstract:
An outburst with rich pulsations has been observed at 9.375 GHz on July 30, 1990. After analysing these pulsations, some interesting results are obtained: (1) The flux level of the burst rises as repetition frequency of pulsations increases, following a linear relationship; (2) The modulation degree of pulsations is inversely propotional to the flux level; (3) There is a good linear relationship between the energy of individual pulse and flux level too. Asimplest interpretations are proposed.

1993, 13(1): 50-56. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.050
Abstract(2203) PDF 489KB(1143)
Abstract:
The cosmic ray composition monitor on the board the Chinese Satellite, Fengyun-l(B), launched in September 1990, had detected the geomagnetically trapped particles (mainly protons, a particles, ions of Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen and Iron) for as long as more than 100 days. Both stationary and solar proton perturbed fluxes of the geomagnetically trapped protons have been recorded. This paper reports the results of 4-23 MeVprotons obtained from 19th to 24th November 1990, a relatively quiet period of the geomagnetic field. The perpendicular flux distribution of the protos in the L-Bspace are obtained and studied. This paper also presents the perpendicular flux distributions of protons on a particular geographical meridian plane (100°E). The results are agreeable with the Radiation Belt theory.

1993, 13(1): 63-70. doi: 10.11728/cjss1993.01.063
Abstract(2020) PDF 618KB(910)
Abstract:
In this paper some proplems in using differential Doppler data to calculate TECby means of the minimum curvature method are discussed and analysed, and the procedure to solve the problems is also given. Using the procedure processed the NNSSsatellite Doppler frequency shift data obtained in Lintong and Beijing on August and September 1989, by the MX1502 receiver, and get the distribution curves of the TEC. From the curves some interesting results about spatial and temperal features of the equatorial anomaly during high solar activity years, expecially during the solar great proton event on 13 August 1989, are found.
