Open science has embarked on a new phase of global consensus, and the great powers in science and technology in the world are actively promoting action plans and practical activities related to open science. The field of space science is in a critical period of research paradigm change, and the development of open science is expected to bring more impetus to space science innovation activities. This paper provides a comprehensive review of global open science action plans in the field of space science, focusing on the progress of open science initiatives initiated by governmental agencies in the US and European space powers and by academic publishers, and along with an analysis of the key elements of the relevant strategic deployment. It also introduces the active contribution from the National Space Science Data Centre (NSSDC), as an important implementer of open science action, in facilitating the open science progress in the field of space science in China. Finally, Based on the comparison with the current global development of open science and the feature analysis of the interactive enhancement of open science and new scientific research paradigm, this paper proposes a number of enlightenment for science data centers to further promote the progress of open science in the future, which will provide more open, synergistic and innovative support and services for the development of the field of space science.
